Uke Hub Cafe does not only attract coffee admirers but also those who delight in music, particularly the classic Ukelele. The cafe offers a variety of handcrafted coffee, serves an array of good-tasting sandwiches, and is a ukelele showroom at the same time. The concept cafe incorporates coffee love and ukelele appreciation.
I was dropping off Singapore-bound friends to the airport, but we opted to have lunch at Rico’s Lechon first, then decided to cool off with ice-blended drinks at Uke Hub Cafe. The three of us ordered the Java Chip ice-blended drink, and we love how it’s not as sweet as it looks, and gave thumbs up for the good coffee hint, plus coffee bean chips in every sip that we expect from a Java chip drink. Visiting again soon for a serving of affogato and Hungry Harry Sandwich.
Uke Hub Cafe also hosts ukelele sessions, and classes for those who are interested. Schedules are posted on their Facebook page. They are located at Mactan Arcade, Airport Road Lapu-lapu City. You may phone them at (032) 255 2683. Operating hours is from 10:00AM to 10:00PM from Sundays to Thursdays and 10:00AM-12:30AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
