Bruce was with urban soul music band “Tower of Power” from 1972 to 1979 and again in 2006 to 2007. They recorded and released 8 albums, one of which peaked at #15 on the Billboard Pop Album chart in 1973. He has toured with the “best of the best” including: The Rolling Stones, Santana, Sly Stone, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Chaka Khan, Al Green, Herbie Hancock, Gladys Knight and Stevie Wonder. He has also made an in-concert-special guest appearance with world-renowned saxophonist Branford Marsalis on “The Tonight Show.”

He is currently the featured soloist and songwriter on American jazz trumpet player Rick Braun’s new album, In Full Stride, as well as “Earth, Wind and Fire Experience” with members ofEarth, Wind and Fire; George Duke and Luther Vandross.
