Located at the beautiful Legaspi Suites, Tio Cococ’s Bar and Restaurant is at Door #9 of the property located in 115 P. Pelayo St. Davao City.
The hispanic yet modern warm ambiance as you enter the restaurant makes you feel like you’re a rich haciendero from the old times. Saturday night when we dined in, it was 2 days before their soft opening. Mr. Pong Militangura, a Thailander with a Chef of international cooking par excellence, prepared a feast for us to sample the restaurant’s offerings.
Tuna Salad (Price: 200php). You would know if the tuna is fresh if there’s no pungent fish taste, and yes this one is definitely fresh!
The all- time- favorite beer match Chicharon bulaklak (Price: 150php)
Tom Yam Seafood Soup with coco cream & Tom Yam Seafood Soup w/0 coco cream (240php each) .
Bagoong Rice (140php) and Pineapple Fried Rice (250php).
Beef Rendang (Price: 260php)
Crispy Pata Family Size (520php)
And ending the dinner with a refreshing dessert, Red Ruby Water Chestnut with shredded Coconut in Pandan Syrup. (Price:75php)
Sharing good laughs over a great feast with Cebu print media friends, Tio Cococ’s is a sure place to enjoy good food, great company and the good life. Big thanks to our hosts Mr. Toto and his wife Ami Sevilla- Panganiban and Chef Pong.
