It was way passed dinner time, and since my blogger bestie and I were already at SM Seaside City, it was a good idea to check out some of the new restaurants along Sky Park for dinner. The Seaside Saloon looked real sexy, and attractive enough for us to decide right away that we’ll be dining there. Marco’s birthday was made more special with a big set meal, and booze to pair.
The restaurant is warmly and beautifully lit, with murals and wall paintings on two of the dining areas. The overhead map light at the center dining and bar is stunning. Though The Seaside Saloon looks like it’s a restaurant where only the millenials would dine in, surprisingly The Seaside Saloon is also a family restaurant. During our visit, there were kids running around and playing arcade as their parents were finishing their dinner, and also a group of young professionals who were at the bar having beers and cocktails.
We ordered the Seafood Platter (Price: P1599). It is a sharing platter good for four with 4 cups of rice, prawn tempura, onion rings, calamari, chicken wings, lechon kawali, classic chili taco and a 12″ pizza. My personal favorites on the set were the Prawn tempura and the lechon kawali. The tempura were madw with those fat crispy juicy prawns, really good. and The lechon kawali was crunchy on the outside, but it beautifully melts as you chew. YUM!
We also ordered two of the house’ specialty cocktails! <3
