Everyone finds comfort in Chinese food and my recent lunch at Tea of Spring was simply nostalgic. As I walk to my table, can’t help but notice families enjoying their lunch that ignited a flashback of my childhood. And yes, I do find Chinese food binding. When we were kids and my siblings and I get into a petty fight, my dad’s initial solution is a hefty dim sum lunch. 🙂
Tea of Spring at the Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa recently revitalized their Chinese menu, adding a few more delectable and sumptuous Chinese dishes that will surely be on your list of Chinese favorites.
A few of my new favorites are Seafood and meat dumpling in supreme soup, Crispy aromatic duck served with sour plum sauce, Stir-fried string beans Szechuan style and Deep-fried seafood roll with mango. And who doesn’t love Tea of Spring fried rice with XO sauce, a must order when dining here at Tea of Spring. And my all time favorite at Tea of Spring and a perfect way to end a sumptuous meal is to a have a serving or two of homemade mochi and chilled mango puree with pomelo and sago. ^_^
And hey, have I told you already that there’s an ongoing Tea of Spring dim sum lunch promotion? For 688++ per person enjoy 3 types of dim sum, 2 main courses, 1 rice or noodle dish and 1 dessert! For inquiries and reservations, please call (63 32) 2318224 or email fbreservations.mac@shangri-la.com
