Coming from Mactan, Banawa is really way way far! My brothers and our friends had been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time now and finally decided to drive our way to Soul Bistro for dinner. It’s easy to spot for the restaurant is just beside the road. Can’t find parking space so parked at an alley before the restaurant.
I find Soul Bistro’s logo clean and crisp! The air-conditioned dining area sits around 18-22 people and around 12-14 guests at the al fresco area. It feels really warm and homey with all the yellow lights. And kudos to the waitresses, who are very friendly and attentive.
Basing on the food we ordered, well honestly, unanimously we think it was just okay and there’s no feeling or excitement of uttering “we are going to order this one on our next visit.” But what is amazing with Soul Bistro’s menu is that they have the “SOUL HEALTHY” choices on the menu, which I can’t wait to try on our next visit. And the Herb Crusted Shrimps sounds interesting as well. Part of our “WHAT TO ORDER NEXT” at Soul Bistro.
Baby Back Ribs with Barcelona Rice (290php). Tenderloin Tips in Mushroom Gravy (169php). Chicken Cordon Bleu with Cream Sauce (149php). Lengua in Brown Wine Sauce (239php). Grilled Pork Belly with Balsamic Dip (149php). Grilled beef belly with dipping sauce (159php).
Reviewing the menu, there are a lot of interesting food at Soul Bistro! On our next visit, we would definitely be trying out the herb crusted shimps, Herb and anchovy pork chop, baked eggplant parmesan, Swedish meatballs stroganoff and the Soul burger!
Until our next piggin out sessions guys!
