SaladStop! opens its first branch in Cebu bringing its “Eat Wide Awake” movement in this side of the country. The drive highlights the importance of proper nutrition and diet as they support the global shift towards a healthier lifestyle, and proving that healthy food can be prepared quick and delicious!
Yesterday was my first visit at SaladStop!, and my perception that dining here would be costly has been proven wrong. With a salad wrap starting at P250, it’s definitely a good deal. Shared lunch with blogmates and we had three from the SaladStop! signature line up of salads and wraps – Oh Crab Lah Salad, Hail Caesar Wrap and Inhale Exkale Salad.
Oh Crab Lah is made with Romaine, crab sticks, grated eggs, vermicelli, cherry tomatoes, red onions, croutons, Singapore Chili Crab, is the perfect introduction to SaladStop! Why? Since Singapore is its birthplace, and who would have thought that Singapore’s Chili Crab would end up in a healthy bowl of greens. Interestingly delightful.
Even in a country where rice is the staple, everyone knows what a Caesar Salad is. And I personally think putting it in a wrap makes it a bit exciting. Served in a bowl or a wrap, Hail Caesar is made with Romaine, shaved parmesan, grated eggs, croutons and bacon bits with the classic Caesar dressing.
Inhale Ex-Kale is made with romaine, kale, cajun shrimp, feta cheese, grated eggs, cherry tomatoes, green apples, grapes, sunflower seeds and carrot ginger dressing. This is an excellent choice for those who want contrasting flavors in a bowl. The experience starts with a kick of warm, spicy bite from the ginger and cajun, then cleans up well as you chew on feta cheese and deliciously ends up with fruity sweet flavors of grapes, cherry tomatoes and apple. Some bites end up with a nutty crunch surprise from the sunflower seeds. <3
And eating healthy doesn’t mean you skip on the most awaited part of the meal -DESSERT! These whole wheat choco chip cookies are <3!
