Who else craves for ramen when it rains? My friends and I do! And last night was one of those random nights that our hunger for the Japanese soup bowl made us drive all the way from Cebu CIty to Cabancalan Mandaue to finally have a serving of the buzzed about Sachi Ramen.
We ordered a bowl of Tantan Men and Noukou Kotteri and two servings of Tonkotsu ramen, plus one order each of takoyaki and gyoza. The buzzing place feels like a real Ramen house in Japan, less the ramen bar seats where you can watch the ramen masters prepare your orders. Plus, you smelling like ramen the moment you step out of the place makes it seem more authentic. Teehee.
Sachi serves Osaka-style ramen, with broth a bit more thin in viscosity than those of Fukuoka and Tokyo ramen versions. It’s tasty broth and firm noodles make Sachi one of Cebuano’s favorites. Not to mention it’s super affordable, with a serving price starting at only PhP220.
Love their Takoyaki, too! It has a slice of octopus, the way it should be! <3
Visit Sachi Authentic Japanese Ramen at their Cabancalan Mandaue branch every Mondays to Saturdays from 11am-1:45PM for lunch and 5PM to 9:45PM for dinner, and on Sundays for dinner from 5PM -9:45pm for dinner.
They also have a branch in Lapu-lapu City, and soon at a more convenient location at the Garden level of Ayala Center Cebu. Let’s just hope the prices don’t spike up when they open at the mall. ^_^
