Brighter & Cozier Business Class Rooms at Radisson Blu Cebu

Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu announces the completion of the first phase of its refurbished program, and introduces 55 brighter and cozier Business Class Rooms(BCR) . I enjoyed a quick respite at Radisson Blu Cebu with business partners Marco and Jean, who signed in at separate remodeled BCRs in levels 20 and 21.

A brighter, refined BCR at the Radisson Blu Cebu on the 19th floor was my home for a night during the outset of the recent weekend. The 35 square meter, newly remodeled Business Class accommodation can comfortably take in two adult guests or a small family of 2 adults and 2 children, and having the entire space for myself was rightly irenic and restful after a hectic week. With the memory foam mattress bed, I definitely had an invigorating night sleep.

It was impressive of how Raddison Blu Cebu attentively provide for  the needs of  the corporate travelers. The room has a work desk equipped with high speed internet, wireless or rj45 jack, and a coffee/tea maker. A 37 inch television to catch up on the latest news or for a quick movie break,  and an iPod Dock to play your fave music. Jean, one of my PR & marketing teammates, had a brilliant idea of hosting a movie night in her flat before calling it a night .

As a business class guest, I comfortably did an express check-in at the Business Class Lounge. Got to access its amenities, reveling in complimentary breakfast, all-day refreshments and evening cocktails at the lounge, plus free two hour use of the boardroom (subject to availability). My team and I wrapped up our stay discussing our outlined plans for the coming months over coffee and light snacks at the Business Class Lounge. Thoughtful comforts that’s truly convenient.

One of the best features of the Radisson Blu Cebu is its proximity to Cebu’s business hubs. It’s a stone-throw away from SM City Cebu, only a few minutes away from Cebu sea ports, 10-minute ride from Cebu Business Park, 15-minute commute to Cebu IT Park, and is pretty close to Cebu’s major spots.

“Our refreshed Business Class guestrooms and suites are a charming mix of both business and leisure. These reimagined rooms imbue a keen sense of place above the dynamic city of Cebu, and we are more than thrilled for our guests to experience these inspiring spaces,” says General Manager Stephan Sieberg.

Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu is located at Serging Osmena Boulevard, Corner Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City, 6000. For inquiries and reservations, you may call (032) 4029900 or email reservations.cebu@radisson.com.

I love going on out of town trips during weekdays when there are not much people in Cebu’s tourist spots. Just recently had some foreign friends over and toured them in Aloguinsan. About 59 kilometers southwest of Cebu City,  the Municipality of Aloguinsan boasts of two charming attractions – Bojo River and Hermit’s Cove.  The drive from Mactan to Aloguinsan is about 2.5 hours, and hammed up our stay by checking in for a night at Hidden Beach Resort. Hidden Beach Resort, Aloguinsan

About Hidden Bech Resort Aloguinsan Cebu
Its 1 kilometer stretch of white sand beachfront and the sunset are the resort’s prime attractions, and those cute friendly dogs too! We were booked in the resort’s cheapest overnight accommodations –  P600 bucks for 2 persons, inclusive of resort entrance, without breakfast. The room is a small hut with a patio, a queen-sized bed and an electric fan. Nothing fancy, just the very basics. The toilet and shower are outside of the room, and shared with guests staying at the other basic fan rooms.  Air-conditioned rooms with their own toilet and bath are also available for P1,500 a night per person. (Posted price as of 7 February 2019)

The property has a canteen but food choices are limited. And there’s only one restaurant, a cafe, that’s a bit close from the resort. I highly suggest you bring your own cooked food, drinks and snacks if you plan to stay at Hidden Beach Resort. You may also bring raw seafood and meat and have the caretakers cook them for you for a fee. Be sure to tell them ahead through the number provided.

Guests can drop by for a day use from 6:00AM to 6:00PM. Tables and cottages are available for rent.

How to get to Hidden Beach Resort by public transport:
From Cebu South Bus Terminal, hop on a bus bound for Aloguinsan and the bus ticketer that you’ll be alighting at Aloguinsan Public Market. The bus ride is about 2 hours. From the market, take a 20-munite  motorcycle ride to Hidden Beach Resort. Be sure to get off at the resort gate and not by the road sign since it’s still about a 15-minute walk from the main road to the resort gate.
