Last night, I had a pre-valentine dinner with my fellow Cebu Fashion Bloggers to get the feel of the Garden Cafe’s dining experience. The international buffet spread has different stations – Salad Station, Pasta Station, Grilling Station, Curry Station, Japanese Station, Dessert and Fresh Fruit Station to name a few.
I started my dinner with a sampler plate, which included slices of lechon belly, roasted ribs and grilled squid rings. From the heavy appetizer, I progressed to chow down on some maki rolls and slices of tuna and salmon. And then Chef Nestor made us sample some of the newest dish creations like Malunggay-Squash Raviolli in Creamy Tomato Sauce and Tofu Sisig. And for dessert, we had Turon Halo-halo! Yum! My most favorite part of the entire dinner? The Malunggay-Squash Ravioli! It’s made with malunggay and squash then enveloped in pasta, with cream and tomato sauce and shreds of cheese. Really good!
