It seems that cute little Korean cafes have been growing popular among Cebuanos. Well, this one just across University of San Carlos Main Campus, is a favorite study place among students and a good place to enjoy a serving of milk tea or iced coffee.
Just like the other Korean Cafe we visited here in Cebu, Gentlemen Cafe is cutely decorated. I can’t seem to get why the cafe is called Gentlemen Cafe though. I would assume it’s because of Psy’s famous “Gentlemen” song. haha. But will definitely ask the owner when I get to visit the cafe again. Accommodating around 30 people, it’s very intimate with a very laid back ambience.
We ordered the 395 set, where we got to choose any 2 drinks from the menu(Coffee, Frapuccino or Non-espresso drinks) with a single serving of Ice Cream waffle.
I had the Raspberry Mocha Frapuccino with less sugar. I love how the combination of the fruity raspberry made bold by the coffee. On the other hand, It was a little sweet still even after I had requested to have the sugar lessened. I would also appreciate it if the cafe would implement a more hygienic way of preparing the food, like wearing of gloves and hairnets when preparing the food. I was seated at the table right across the counter and saw the girl who was making drink hold the wafer stick with her bare hand and placed it on my drink. And we also saw a hair strand on our Ice Cream Waffle. Teehee. Well, I’d be calling the store tomorrow and tell them about it the incident and hope when we come back, we get to see improvements. 🙂 But nonetheless, the drink creation I tried was good. Can’t wait to try their other concoctions.
