International coffee shop brands’ strong presence in Cebu paved way to more local coffee enthusiasts to open their very own cafes. But fresh players in the coffee business may have a big, initial challenge – attracting customers to visit an unfamiliar label. I remember when Bicester Cafe first opened in 2017, and with its very instagrammable interiors, and that Riverdale-ish neon light signs, I was pretty sure that this place will be packed with IGnatic millenials. So would it be accurate to say that a fine-looking cafe can effectively attract customers? Well, Bicester pretty much proved this theory.
But having a charming shop can only get you so far, specially with the Cebuano market. Quality and value for money will be the main factors to keep you going and for followers to keep growing. And gladly, Bicester Cafe passed both values.
Bicester Cafe highlights delicious hot and iced coffee varieties, and an array of blended beverages as well. The most recent serving I had at Bicester was the Caramel Blended Coffee, which is a personal favorite in the blended category. The balance of smoky sweet and coffee tinge’s just right.
The cafe’s chicken strips on top of home-made waffle is a winner! My nephews, niece and I absolutely love this all-day brunch item. The Eggs Benedict and the Banana Pancakes are also delish and are on our list of Bicester’s go-to brunch fares.
How about you? What’s your Bicester Cafe favorite?
