5 & 6 March 2016, SM Seaside City Mountain Wing Entertainment Center – Backjoy, the posture authority, hosted a series of fun physical games, a free spinal screening and a talk on Spinal health to celebrate the opening of Backjoy’s third branch in Metro Cebu.

Backjoy Posture Playground is a two-day fair was participated by a diverse number of challengers who took on two obstacles while maintaining a good posture – The Slack Line and the Spider Web Challenges.
The Slack Line Challenge tested the core strength and balance of the participants as they balance in tightropes with tension between two anchor points. During Slackline, a person engages its inner core which allows a person to protect the delicate structures of the spine. At some point, this is when your pelvis is upright and your whole spine follows with it thus achieving a persons ideal postural alignment.

The Spiderweb Challenge assessed the participants body coordination, agility and back strength as they slip inside a web maze and gather three blue eggs in a span of 30 seconds. The Spiderweb Challenge is used as a therapy to improve body’s structure, posture and alignment. It is base on the idea that the fibrous layers covering muscles – stiffens and shortens and loses elasticity after prolonged poor posture and mental stress. Thus, those people who will try out BackJoy spiderweb challenge faces his/ her physical and mental ability to get back to its neutral postural state.
