10 October 2017, SM City Cebu – Healthy Options reopens at The Northwing of SM City Cebu with a more spacious venue, toting more products that promote a holistic healthy lifestyle. The new space is well lit, and I personally feel it’s more organized, plus with ampler space between aisles compared to the previous setting.
Healthy Options is my go-to shop for detox teas, protein bars, witch hazel astringent, mud mask and delicious low-calorie salad dressing. I am a fan of the tea brand, Yogi – Kombucha in particular, Queen Helene Mudmask which unfortunately was faced out last year from HO outlets, and the highly recommended toner by beauty guru friend Joanna Cuenco and my daily astringent brand for two years now – T.N. Dickinsons Witch Hazel. These products I get at Healthy Options and I am head over heels for.
Since I was just around SM City yesterday, I dropped by the newly redesigned branch before heading for a quick run at the gym. Ended up grabbing some of my favorite items, and a product suggested by a friend that I was itching to give a shot.
Seeing that my current witch hazel bottle is almost empty, the Beauty Section was my first stop. Already used up two 160oz of TN Dickinson’s WH, and felt confident and adventurous of trying the other witch hazel bottle – the Dickenson’s pore perfector toner. Also grabbed a jar of Redmond’s bentonite clay, which was recommended by my friend Maj Villarosa for deep pore cleansing. Stocked up on a week supply of CarbRite Protein Bars as well which was just on the opposite shelf. Then headed towards the grocery section for a bottle of salad dressing and a box of Yogi tea. Got Brianna’s Homestyle Caesar made with shredded Asiago cheese, and a box of Yogi Stress Relief Tea – hoping it knocks off the strain caused by the heavy metro traffic. On my way to the counter, found a pretty bottle of hot chocolate powder from Sillycow Farms, read ‘truffle chocolate’ on the label, and with no hesitation, it ended up on my grocery cart. I have a weakness for anything charming, and CHOCOLATE. 😉 And before finally heading to the counter, grabbed a Voss bottle and a pack of wintergreen mints.
