September 8, 2012 Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz had a press conference for their movie, The Mistress at The Castle Peak Hotel.
The Mistress marks the 10th anniversary of Bea and JL’s love team and will be hitting the cinemas nationwide on September 12, 2012. The movie also stars the multi awarded actress, Hilda Koronel, who returns to the silver screen after 6 years of not accepting any projects here and abroad. Hilda shared that John Lloyd and Bea’s first ever “mature” film was so great it was so hard to resist. She also adds that the director and the cast were major factors that made it irresistable.
According to Bea, she considers “The Mistress” as a milestone project and a grand celebration for her and John Lloyd. Isang dekada na,” said Bea. She also regarded that The Mistress was her Bravest film to date.
It’s been a great ride for me not being JD but trying to be JD (John lloyd’s character in the movie.) I guess we are worlds apart. Malayong malayo sya from me. He’s too bold and aggresive. But JD definitely made an impact on me as a person; on how to deal with your life and how to deal with your ups and downs. Hopefully just like JD, makita ko yung challenges as opportunities to deliver something good,” John lloyd said.
