July 20, 2012 – Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 Swimsuit competition was held at Imperial Palace Resort and Spa. Thirty official candidates ramped in their swimsuit attire for the special awards, Best in Swimsuit and Mutya ng Imperial Palace. So who won the titles? Be proud for Mutya ng Pilipinas – Cebu City Rizzini Gomez bagged the two awards!

She will be competing with 29 other contestants vying to compete in 4 international beauty pageants – Miss Asia Pacific International, Miss Tourism International, Tourism Queen of the Year and Miss Intercontinental. Coronation night will be August 12, 2012, 7pm at the UP Theatre in Diliman, Quezon City. The Mutya ng Pilipinas will be telecast on GMA7.
