Everyday I put eating chocolates on my To-do-list, just to make sure I get something done by the end of the day. I just love chocolates- may it be dark, white, with nuts or with fruits(You can check my Facebook wall photos if you don’t believe me.
) One night, a good friend texted me that a new restaurant is celebrating their grand opening the next day and the owner had invited me to join them. I declined since I got other stuff to take care the next day and asked what’s the restaurant is serving and he answered it’s a chocolatier and everything on the menu has chocolate on it! Without any hesitation, I retracted my “NO” and said COUNT ME IN!
Maitre Chocolatier is fascinating and intriguing. With chocolate on everything on the menu is just heaven to every chocoholic. It may sound weird for some – sausage with chocolates? pizza with chocolates? I tried them and I tell you their good! Today though, I will only be featuring four of the desserts offered at Maitre Chocolatier.
Maitre’s Virtuous Temptation -Lindt White Strawberry Mousse Cake! Divine white chocolate mousse whipped with slices of fresh strawberries and Lindt White Chocolate. (168php+). Ohhh lala! I love!
Maitre’s Golden Euphoria is their bestseller. Ferrero Hazelnut Crunch Cake. Chocolate hazelnut mousse on a velvety chocolate spongecake topped with Ferrero Rocher Chocolate. (188php+) It’s best shared since it gets to be very sweet halfway!
Maitre’s Guiltless Crime- Frey Lait Fruit Tartlet. Creamy Frey Lait Chocolate filled in heart-shaped tartlet topped with kiwi,mango and melon. (Price: 120php+). The fresh fruits with Frey chocolate is a great combination, thought the tart is a bit hard, so better eat each heart tart in one munch to prevent everything from falling down.
Maitre Crepe with Lindt white chocolate sauce topped with nuts. Price 168php+
Gracing the opening includes Department of tourism Secretary Ace Duarano, Ms. Cebu 2009 Krestipani Janson,
ABS CBN Cebu’s Cathy Gabornino and Cinbeth Orellano!
