“We serve HAPPINESS!” As what it says on their webpage, would instantly translate as soon as you step inside the cafe. The country-feel interior is really cute and homey. Started brewing just last August 15, 2013, they are still on their soft opening and would be hosting their grand launch this September. Noriter is a Korean word translating to playground, hence the very happy and playful vibe when in the cafe. One of the Korean owners even made a balloon umbrella when one of the customers was looking so worried when a heavy downpour suddenly gushed when she was about to leave the cafe. That of course made the customer smile. Truly a happy place. <3
Another thing I noticed is the music playlist is Korean. hahaha. And a hefty amount of customers are singing along with the songs. Must be KPop fanatics. With the very cheerful decorations and ambiance, its a great place to get artistic. Colored pencils , pens and post-its are provided at the counter so you can doodle while you wait for your handcrafted drink.
You and your friends or …. ahem … your date.. get a bit of privacy with the cubicles below or the elevated chill spaces . Customers have to squat on pillows though, so when your in your formal wear or in mini skirts, it’s a bad idea to have your coffee fix here.
And if your all alone, drinking coffee all by yourself, don’t worry for this big bear can keep you company.
So I thought only Starbucks can use Frappuccino, but hey Cafe Noriter uses it too! Am a fan of ice-blended drinks and ordered the Java chip. Priced at 180php, it’s 20php more compared to the price of a venti Frappuccino at Starbucks. But am not complaining, their version is soo good. Fine blended ice, flavorful but with the right amount of sweetness. And the whip is mallowish and I love it! They are offering a few bites for now, and hope they add more. Shari Quimbo of Zee Lifestyle recommended the Honey bread which I will be ordering later this afternoon on the side with my daily dose of caffeine fix.
And we will be interviewing the owners real soon so we’d love for you to read more about the cafe and the people behind the brand.
